About Me...

I started this blog hoping to have a place to post my own knitting calculators and to have a place to explain/work out issues or details concerning my knitting projects. If this allows me ample html access, it will do. If not, this will still have to do until I get my website back up and running.

I've been designing patterns and helping write patterns from projects already knitted for several years now. I love little tips and tricks that keep improving the quality of my knitting, and I'm always looking for inspiration.

Between my account on Ravelry and my local yarn store escapades, I do tend to keep myself rather occupied with projects.

Outside of my knitting, I am a web programmer that loves to lose time in a particularly fascinating challenge. Though I do prefer hardcore code monkeying, I do have the opportunity to work in graphic design on a regular basis. I always find it fascinating that simple elements come together to make something, whether it be knitting or a website, look way more complicated and elegant than it really is. I think there is beauty in simplicity, and there is enriched sense of accomplishment found in stretching your brain and your abilities beyond its comfort zone.
